A few days ago I finished watching "Narco", which is an amazing SHOW!!!
I watched the show because of Nas chanting "Esco" every way he could in a song, in other words, HIP-HOP made me DO IT! ;-D
Pablo Escobar was a fascinating man with a large SET.................in his mind. He was himself, a certain way and all others were second outside his familia. Family, Loyalty, and Respect were all he wanted and a lot of those who are from nothing can relate.
Yazmin has a saying "want to know who your man really is? Give him money and power"
Narcos is about what men do to attain power. We all want it, and those who say otherwise are lying to you. If you have a 5-year plan or have a job that you want to be promoted in, it's all for MONEY and POWER!
Narcos puts the decision we make to either be innocent or have consequences that you never imagined you'd be in or that you would do, especially when your family is involved.
It's easy to say that you decide to get into the drug game and that is true most times, but sometimes circumstances force others to get into it, all by accident. I guess that's where conspiracy comes in.
Narco is REAL LIFE! It's a great tale about the war on drugs from the ground perspective. All of the players in this Colombian backdrop are extremely intelligent and nobody is to be underestimated. The consequences are deadly.
This show doesn't tell all, but it descriptive enough to get the point across. There a ton of lessons to learned from and points of views to be seen.
It's a binge-worthy, so make sure you have a weekend because the theme song is going to STICK
PEACE!
